Event Takeover Coordinator
Event Takeover Coordinator
Local: Help expand and sustain local ministry momentum by either stepping in to run established chapter events or launching proven event concepts in your city. Stepping into an existing event frees up seasoned coordinators to pioneer new initiatives, but it begins with intentionality—shadowing current leaders and serving as a co-coordinator to master event logistics before taking the lead. Alternatively, if you see a successful event from another chapter or our master event catalog that you’re passionate about bringing to your city, you’ll work with leadership to launch it. Because intentionality drives everything we do at Ignite, new events are phased in thoughtfully to ensure we protect community focus, avoid cluttering local calendars, and build sustainable, thriving gatherings rather than simply filling schedules. Regional: Coordinate event takeover pathways and new event rollouts across neighboring city chapters. You’ll help surrounding teams identify which regional event models are ready for replication, align event scheduling across nearby cities, and share proven launch toolkits to support healthy chapter expansion. National: Maintain the master national catalog of approved Ignite event formats, launch guides, and takeover transition frameworks. You’ll evaluate nationwide event trends, update standard operating procedures for various event types, and ensure all chapters have structured pathways for passing leadership mantles smoothly. Management: Mentor and coach incoming event coordinators through the shadowing, co-coordinating, and takeover process. You’ll guide volunteers on event management logistics, calendar strategy, and maintaining event quality while fostering a healthy, sustainable volunteer pace.

Facebook Community Group Posts Volunteer
Facebook Community Group Posts Volunteer
Local: Help expand Ignite’s reach into new cities by finding and posting to local Facebook community groups ranging from a few hundred to hundreds of thousands of members (such as "Seattle Hikers"). You’ll build and maintain city-specific group lists, follow optimized copy-paste templates, and craft thoughtful post variations tailored to local community cultures. Just like our Marketplace role, this position requires thick skin and emotional maturity, as you’ll respond to both positive interest and negative opposition in the comments. Your primary goal is to spread awareness of local gatherings and reach new young adults, while using rare instances of online pushback as an opportunity to model grace and gently disciple opposition. Regional: Identify high-impact regional interest groups across your state or geographic area to expand the ministry’s footprint. You’ll track which regional posting strategies yield the best engagement and help manage cross-city post schedules for major joint events and retreats. National: Standardize the national Facebook group outreach playbook by building master group databases, testing high-performing post templates, and refining engagement strategies for chapters launching in new markets across the country. Management: Coach and support incoming posting volunteers on digital conversation dynamics. You’ll train them on how to handle difficult comments gracefully, keep engagement warm and authentic, and maintain thick skin while representing Ignite online.
Note: These roles can also be done for other platform is you have any specific knowlege or ideas such as messaging for repost on local instagram themed accounts, reddit channels possibly, ect. We are always open to hearing creativity!

Facebook Marketplace Coordinator
Facebook Marketplace Coordinator
Local: Connect with people directly in your city and help your local chapter grow by sourcing needed gear—like paddle boards or outdoor equipment—on Facebook Marketplace using your personal account. You’ll send outgoing messages using suggested outreach templates, test effective conversation openers, and manage incoming replies with warmth, pointing people toward local gatherings while acquiring items the group needs. This role is a unique opportunity to spread the word about Ignite and actively heal church hurt through genuine, personal interactions. It can be a fun and rewarding position, but it also presents real spiritual battles. It requires someone with thick skin, patience, and a deep love for people, as Marketplace can bring out the best and worst in human nature—meaning the potential for Kingdom impact through your personal witness often far outweighs the actual item being purchased. Regional: Oversee and support local Marketplace coordinators across neighboring cities within your region. You’ll help team members troubleshoot tough interactions, adapt message templates for regional effectiveness, and ensure equipment sourcing efforts across surrounding chapters remain aligned and consistent. National: Establish high-level Marketplace outreach strategies, safety guidelines, and outreach message templates for Ignite chapters nationwide. You’ll monitor national response trends and refine outreach frameworks to protect volunteers while maximizing the ministry’s ability to connect with unchurched young adults across the country. Management: Train, mentor, and encourage incoming Marketplace volunteers as they step into this role. You’ll equip them with conflict-de-escalation tools, help them navigate difficult online interactions, and coach them on keeping gospel-centered impact as their primary focus during every transaction.

Local: Serve as the detective for your city chapter by identifying untapped local funding sources that align with Ignite’s mission.
