Grant Writer
Local: Translate Ignite’s local vision and impact into compelling, professionally written grant applications and proposals for city-level opportunities. Working directly from the research team's leads, you’ll draft persuasive narratives, gather local community impact metrics, and compile required documentation (such as budget breakdowns and mission statements) to secure local sponsorship and grant funds. Your writing helps turn city grant leads into actual dollars that fuel local events, venue rentals, and outreach equipment.
Regional: Draft tailored, multi-page proposals for state-level foundations and regional grantmakers. You’ll synthesize stories of impact from multiple city chapters, articulate broader regional growth strategies, and tailor narrative messaging to align with specific regional foundation goals and criteria.
National: Author high-level, complex grant proposals and enterprise funding requests for national foundations and major philanthropic organizations. You’ll collaborate with senior ministry leadership to convey large-scale expansion plans, project multi-year financial budgets, and craft powerful, data-backed impact stories that secure capital for nationwide initiatives.
Management: Oversee a team of grant writers, reviewing and editing all proposal drafts to ensure exceptional writing quality, accurate narrative alignment, and strict adherence to submission guidelines. You’ll track application statuses nationwide and manage final submission deadlines across every tier.
