Policies & Guidelines Writer Staff
Policies & Guidelines Writer Staff
Local: Help us continue to elevate our operational excellence and expand our effectiveness in reaching young adults for Jesus. One of the core reasons Ignite is growing and thriving is intentionality—we firmly believe we must actively partner with the Holy Spirit and work diligently alongside our Creator. Foundationally shaped by books like When Helping Hurts and Toxic Charity, our ministry recognizes that simply trying to "do good" without spiritual alignment, clear strategy, and deep intentionality can unintentionally cause harm. In this role, you will help continuously refine the quality, formatting, readability, depth, and breadth of our documentation to support all local roles, ensuring our volunteers, coordinators, and staff are equipped with clear, spirit-led operational guidance. Regional: Adapt and expand policy documentation to support multi-city initiatives and regional operational needs across surrounding chapters. You’ll work with regional leaders to document best practices, streamline safety guidelines, and ensure consistency as chapters grow within the area. National: Own and maintain the master national handbook, volunteer guidelines, and organizational policies for Ignite nationwide. You’ll audit existing documentation for clarity and structure, authoring comprehensive frameworks that guide new chapter launches and keep our national team aligned. Management: Mentor and guide incoming policy writers and administrative contributors across all chapters. You’ll train team members on clear formatting, tone, and documentation standards, ensuring every writer understands how to translate ministry vision into practical, actionable operational guidelines.

Public Relations (PR) Coordinator
Public Relations (PR) Coordinator
Local: Focus entirely on proactive, expansion-minded PR that gets Ignite's story in front of young adults across your city. We don't use PR for "damage control" or defensive media management—our HR team handles internal resolution and community care. Instead, this role is all about offensive outreach and pulling off high-impact, low-hanging fruit. You’ll connect with local magazines, newspapers, neighborhood publications, and digital blogs to secure donated ad space, feature stories, or interview opportunities with local coordinators, staff, or our founders. From local podcast appearances to partnerships with local micro-influencers, your goal is to leverage existing community platforms to wildly expand our local reach. Regional: Build relationships with regional news outlets, radio stations, state-wide digital publications, and larger regional influencers. You’ll craft compelling press pitches for multi-city gatherings, regional service projects, and large-scale summits, helping tell the story of what God is doing through Ignite across surrounding areas. National: Establish high-level media partnerships with national Christian publications, widespread news networks, major podcasts, and national influencers. You’ll create master media kits, standardize press release templates, and secure top-tier feature stories that highlight the nationwide expansion of the ministry. Management: Train and equip local PR volunteers on media outreach etiquette, press kit distribution, and effective pitching strategies. You’ll coach team members on how to communicate Ignite's mission clearly to journalists, helping them build lasting relationships with media professionals at every level.

Volunteer Coordinator
Volunteer Coordinator
Local: Build a vibrant volunteer culture in your city through a clear, multi-stage growth trajectory designed for maximum community impact. This role begins at Level 1 by recruiting and organizing a core team of volunteers to help run casual Hobby-Based Home Groups built around shared interests and food. As local interest and momentum grow, you can elevate to Level 2, coordinating volunteer teams for larger Special Events and high-energy Outdoor Activities to draw in active young and youngish adults. Finally, at Level 3, you'll establish a robust, self-sustaining volunteer leadership pipeline, empowering individuals to use their God-given gifts to serve others in their daily lives. Reaching these higher stages creates an incredible platform to dismantle the isolation prevalent among adults today and fosters deep, multidimensional relationships centered on Christ. Whether organizing event setup or casting the long-term vision, you’ll mobilize a team of community builders to create welcoming, low-pressure environments where spiritual conversations can happen organically. Regional: Connect volunteer leaders across neighboring cities to establish regional training, shared volunteer resources, and multi-city support networks. You’ll assist local chapters in navigating recruitment strategies, volunteer retention, and cross-city event staffing to ensure that leadership remains shared, relational, and rooted in service. National: Develop standard safety guidelines, volunteer training playbooks, recruitment frameworks, and leadership development models for Ignite ministries nationwide. You’ll track volunteer engagement metrics across all chapters and curate launch playbooks for equipping new volunteers as Ignite expands into new cities, ensuring our culture and alignment flow everywhere. Management: Mentor and coach local chapter leaders and volunteers through each phase of the volunteer trajectory, from casual home group helpers to full event coordinators. You’ll equip teams to understand their roles, practice biblical mindfulness, and ensure that our gatherings remain a welcoming, inclusive space for followers of Jesus, those navigating church hurt, and anyone exploring faith.

Wix Events Coordinator
Wix Events Coordinator
Local: Set up ticket links, RSVP forms, and event details on our Wix platform for your city's upcoming gatherings and social events. Similar to our Facebook events role, much of the foundational work involves duplicating past successful events, making relevant date and location updates, and collaborating with our graphics team to swap out matching visual templates. While standard setups are straightforward, larger events often involve strategic timed launches, dynamic ticket tiers, and phased rollouts. This requires a bit more intentional planning, but it is deeply rewarding and really fun for anyone who loves digital organization and logistics. Regional: Coordinate the Wix event infrastructure across neighboring city chapters to ensure multi-city gatherings, regional retreats, and joint socials are launched smoothly and on schedule. You’ll align regional ticketing schedules and share streamlined duplication workflows with surrounding teams. National: Standardize the national Wix Events dashboard, auditing listings for accuracy, consistent branding, and smooth user registration. You’ll build master template libraries and rollout strategies for national campaigns and major multi-city initiatives. Management: Train, mentor, and support local and regional Wix coordinators on platform mechanics, dynamic ticket tiers, and timeline rollouts. You’ll guide team members in mastering the dashboard so they can build clean, friction-free registration pages with confidence.
